One of the key takeaway from the Jeff Hurt session during the Southwest Showcase was this: Go to the sessions that are curated for expert audiences. Why? Two-fold: 1. The content will be much deeper and well rounded to suit the audience. 2. Who should you network with? Experts. Think about it. If you are planning a conference do not just offer beginner basics, or I would venture to even say just don’t. Rather, go ahead and find content that is curated to the expert niche. It will draw your experts to your event which is an intangible benefit for all attendees, educationally and for networking potential.
What event are you planning that requires educational content? How are you working on drawing in the experts to boost in room experience and content?
